Military brides-to-be lined up Monday at Amanda's Collection in Conway to pick out a free dress for their upcoming weddings.
Amanda Roof is the owner of Amanda's Collection and joined the Brides Across America program this year to give back to the community.
This program began in 2007 and gives free bridal gowns to brides-to-be who are either in the military or marrying someone who is.
Due to deployments, timing, or economic circumstances many military brides get cheated out of their dream weddings. Roof says that this is "a great way to give back to those who risk their lives for our country."
One bride-to-be traveled from Fort Bragg, North Carolina Monday hoping to find her perfect dress. Samantha Leeder is a medic in the U.S. Army and is marrying a mental health technician who also serves in the military. She admits that this program means a lot to her, especially considering that she and her fiance are trying to save up to buy a house.
Leeder walked out of Amanda's Collection with the first dress that she tried on and loved it.
Amanda's Collection has donated 40 gowns in all styles, sizes and range in prices - from $500 to $2,000.
This event continues Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis.
