The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged two men for taking advantage of an 84-year-old Timmonsville woman.
SLED agents say Jeffrey Scott Moffitt, 34, and Charles Ray Styles, 32, both of North Carolina, defrauded several thousand of dollars from the woman on two separate occassions in 2010.
Arrest warrants for the men say the 84-year-old woman was "vulnerable and unable to adequately provide for her own care and protection."
Both men are charged with exploiting a vulnerable adult and obtaining goods under false pretenses.
Moffitt was arrested in Virginia on Wednesday and extradited back to South Carolina by SLED. He's currently being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
Styles was arrested and charged in January.
