Horry County Police are looking for the man who kidnapped a woman around 12 p.m. Thursday.
Reports show a woman used her cell phone and called police from inside the trunk of her vehicle on Mt. Pisgah Cemetary Road in Conway.
Officers responded to that area based on latitude and longitude from a cell phone signal. Officers searched the area for approximately 30 minutes before locating the woman on Hardwick Rd.
She told police she was pulled out of her car by the man while sitting at a traffic light on Oak Street and Cultra Road. She told police he held a knife to her throat before putting her into the trunk of the vehicle and driving away.
There is a vague description police have released of the suspect. He is a male of average build and was wearing a green shirt and a brown hat. If you have any information about the incident or the man police are looking for, you're asked to call 911 or 843-248-1520.
Police say the man should be considered armed and dangerous, and advise you not to approach him.
