Highway Patrol responds to deadly accident in Darlington County

DARLINGTON COUNTY -- Highway Patrol is at the scene of a deadly accident in Darlington County on Highway 401 near East Lynches River Road.

We're told two people were killed when an 18-wheeler and a pick up truck collided.

East Lynches River Road is shut down at the site of the accident.

We have a crew on the way to the scene and will bring you more details as we get them.
