United Way is gearing up for its annual campaign to benefit Pee Dee schools.

Employees at the Florence office are getting the boxes ready for the 'Stuff the Bus' campaign.

You're asked to drop off school supplies in the boxes at locations across the Pee Dee. The supplies will be given to teachers and to students in need.

United Way's Florence County president, EJ Newby, says they want to help parents who may be struggling in this economy. "Trying to provide needy things that their children are in need of for example food, water, and electricity these are the essentials. what we try to do is to relieve that burden from the parents."

The drive runs from June 27th to July 30th.

The school buses will be parked at Walmart stores on July 30th and volunteers will fill them with all the supplies.

Here's a list of the drop off locations.
