South Carolina senators have opened debate on how to draw district lines for a new, seventh U.S. House seat.
One of those senators will be in our area this weekend for a discussion on the issue.
Senator Ray Cleary will speak at the Applewood Pancake House on Highway 17 in Litchfield from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
Because of population changes, the South Carolina House and Senate and the U.S. House of Representativeswill all have new lines drawn.
