MYRTLE BEACH -- The Myrtle Beach Fire Department responded to a fire at an office building just after midnight Thursday.
A man called 911 and reported smoke coming from the building at 28th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach around 12:05 a.m.
Thomas Shorts told NewsChannel 15 heavy smoke was coming through the roof.
Firefighters used a ladder truck and had the flames under control within thirty minutes.
They say the fire was started by an electrical problem in a bathroom exhaust fan.
We previously reported that this office was occupied by Ocean Sands Pediatrics, but they are no longer in that building.
