FLORENCE -- Florence police say Detric Delonte Johnson, 22, of Florence, turned himself in Monday morning at the Florence Police Department.
He is charged with attempted murder in a shooting that happened last week.
Major Carlos Raines says Johnson and Marquese Sanchez Scott got in an argument with a man last Tuesday.
They met the man at Sedgefield Apartments at the 1300 block of Valparaiso Drive around 5:20 p.m. last Wednesday. Police say Johnson and Scott, from their car, got into a gun fight with the man and hit the man in the foot. Police say they found multiple bullet holes in the car and in the apartments.
Both Johnson and Scott took off running, but Scott returned. Police arrested him and charged him with attempted murder.
Police have not decided whether to charge the victim. They're investigating whether he acted in self defense.
