Agents with the Marion County Combined Drug Unit say they seized an undisclosed number of marijuana plants from inside a home on Watermill Road near Mullins.
Residents living near by complained about the home and showed concerns that there could be a marijuana grow operation in the home and agents say they discovered an elaborate operation.
Police say they also discovered that the outdoor area containing the marijuana was booby trapped around the perimeter of the enclosed area to protect the marijuana plants.
Stafford Jones, 36, of Mullins was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Marijuana and a weapons violation related to the booby traps.
