Asst. Chief Danny Lussier says the fire began on a front porch. The fire caused damage to one unit and water damage to the unit below.

Lussier adds two firemen suffered from heat exhaustion. One is okay, another was taken to Georgetown Memorial Hospital. The fireman taken to the hospital has now been transferred to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and is in critical condition. His name is not being released per request from the family.
