Power restored to Murrells Inlet and Litchfield areas

3,400 Santee Cooper Customers were without power Monday night in the Murrells Inlet and Litchfield areas.

Laura Varn, VP of Corporate Communications with Santee Cooper, says all power has been restored.

Electricity was out for about 50 minutes beginning around 7 pm.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
