North Myrtle Beach's public information officer, Pat Dowling, says people may see a National Guard helicopter flying over the North Myrtle Beach area.

Dowling said the chopper will serve as the city's "eye in the sky" for the duration of the Harley bike rally and the upcoming Memorial Day weekend bike rally.

Dowling said the helicopter can respond to Myrtle Beach if needed, but will mostly focus on the North Myrtle Beach area.

The 2011 Cruisin' the Coast Spring Harley Rally ends Sunday. The Memorial Day Bike Fest in Atlantic Beach starts May 26th and ends on Memorial Day.
