Hundreds of vendors are selling their wares at this year's Spring Harley Rally on the Grand Strand, including a few you might not expect to see catering to thousands of bikers.
Lawyers from the Tom McGrath Law Firm, a Richmond, Virginia firm that specializes in biker legal cases, are handing out advice to bikers on motorcycle-related issues, like insurance and DUIs.
Jim Cannon, an investigator with the firm, says a prerequisite for working there is a passion for motorcycles.
"Just the lawyers will probably do 30 or 40,000 miles this year," Cannon said. "I'm hoping to get 20 or 25."
One vendor set up at the Myrtle Beach Mall organizes an ocean cruise specifically aimed at bikers. The cruises feature a pirate night, a hippie music night and stops at Jimmy Buffett restaurants on-shore.
The company bills itself as "the world's only rally on a cruise ship". High Seas Rally owner Dean Anderson says he came up with the idea as a way for land-based bikers to broaden their horizons, since three-quarters of the earth is covered with water.
"We've done several in Alaska, Mexican Riviera, but we do an annual one out of western Caribbean, Port Canaveral, Florida."
Another vendor is selling a hands-free video camera, embedded in a pair of sunglasses Don Butler invented and sells Sportsman Eyewear as a way for bikers to shoot video without taking their hands off the handlebars.
Butler says it's also good for sports fans to wear to the game.
"You got your burger in one hand, your soda in the other hand and you're videoing and you're not looking into a small viewfinder, like folks do when they're videoing things and missing all the action going on out front."
The glasses can record up to 3 hours worth of video and audio on one card.
