The Horry County man who died in a motorcycle accident near Loris Monday night has been identified.
Robert Wayne Dew, 54 of Loris, died from head injuries and internal injuries he suffered when the Harley he was driving ran into the back of a Suzuki, according to Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident that occurred on Highway 9, near Highway 701.
The driver of the Suzuki motorcycle was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. His condition has not yet been released.
