Highway Patrol says a 9-month-old baby died in a crash on Big Swamp Road Tuesday.
It happened about two miles outside of Pamplico at about 3:10 p.m.
Highway Patrol says the car hit a ditch and a tree and overturned.
The Florence County coroner's office identifies the baby as Julia Suzanne Mullins.
Several people were taken to the hospital, including the driver, Delilah Mullins.
Highway Patrol is still investigating, focusing on if the occupants were properly restrained.
