The name of the man who died in an Horry County motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon has been released.
Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler identified the victim as Adam Demers, 26, of Myrtle Beach.
Fowler says Demers was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and died from blunt trauma to the body.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. on Highway 501 and Forestbrook Road.
South Carolina Highway Patrol says Demers was the only person involved in the crash.
