The incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning at BJ's Bar and Grill.
Mullins Police Chief Kenneth Davis says officers were already at the bar for a seperate incident when the manager asked them for help because of a fight.
Davis says once inside they found 19-year-old Justin Legette who was unconscious.
Officers called EMS but once they arrived Legette had regained consciousness and refused medical treatment.
Davis says Legette left with family.
About an hour later he arrived at the hospital but had already died.
Davis says Legette was shot.
Police have charged 20-year-old Anthony White of Marion with murder. More charges will likely follow.
Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson says an autopsy will be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina.
