Horry County Police Investigating copper theft

Horry County police say, on Thursday, a large amount of copper was stolen from Next Step Partners at 3701 Waccamaw Blvd just outside Myrtle Beach .

Police say they responded to the business in reference to a "malicious damage complaint." 

Investigators say 14 air conditioning units had been damaged, and the copper taken out of them, totaling approximately $100,000 in damages.
