Saire Jerrel Castro, 22, of Myrtle Beach, was booked into J. Rueben Long Detention Center at 7:07 p.m. Monday on a charge of murder.
Kevin Bowens, 35, was found with several gunshot wounds to his torso in March at a home on Drayton County. Bowens was pronounced dead at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Four people were arrested right after the shooting. Police searched for two other suspects. They had custody of Castro, but he escaped. U.S. Marshals arrested Castro in Florida last month.
