The Horry County coroner says a man involved in a police chase has died.

A police report from the Horry County Police Department says Bradley Musslemann, 18, of Myrtle Beach led police on a chase from Highway 544 to Gardner Lacy Road early Thursday morning.

Police say they tried to stop a motorcycle with two people riding on Highway 544 in a traffic stop. But, they say, the driver wouldn't stop and turned onto Myrtle Ridge Road reaching speeds of 150 miles per hour.

Police followed the motorcycle to Gardner Lacy Road where it crashed near Tibwin Avenue, which is just past Carolina Forest High School.

Officers say Musslemann was hurt and they called Horry County Fire Rescue.  The passenger was just scratched up a bit.

The Horry County Coroner's Office says Musslemann died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center Friday morning.
