A car hit and killed Barbara Freeman, 61, while she was riding a bicycle just before 10 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 76 in Marion County.
It happened near the Walmart.
Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson says Freeman died on the scene from multiple injuries to her head and body.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
