City of Florence police now know the location of a man wanted for murder. Deonte Nathaniel Williams, 26, has been found this weekend in New Jersey.

Egg Harbor Township police responded to a motel around 12:30 p.m. Saturday and found Williams wounded in his right arm.

Once taken in officials learned he was wanted on a fugitive warrant. Major Carlos Rains with Florence police says they are in the process of bringing Williams back to the Pee Dee. There's no word yet if Williams will waive extradition back to South Carolina.

Officials say Williams killed Miriam Burgess earlier this month.

Firefighters found Burgess' body after putting out a fire in her home on Stackley Street in Florence.

At the time, police still weren't sure if he started the fire. Autopsy results show that Burgess died of stab wounds.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
