The Florence woman who went missing in the mountains near Asheville, NC is now back home in Florence.

Friends tell NewsChannel 15 that Kristy Thornbrew, 29, returned home last night and continues to recover from her injuries.

Last Thursday, rescuers in a helicopter spotted Thornbrew alive on Black Mountain. She'd been missing since Monday morning when she went to climb the mountain to see the sunrise.
