MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Pirate ships docked on the Grand Strand Wednesday as part of the new "Pirates Voyage" show moving into the old Dixie Stampede building in Myrtle Beach.
The crimson and sapphire pirates will battle each other on the indoor lagoon as part of the dinner show. The owners say they were looking for something fresh because many of the people who come to Myrtle Beach are repeat visitors.
They say that the show will offer a new experience for locals too.
"There's so much to them," said Pete Owens, with Pirates Voyage. "There's so much intricate detail inside of the arena itself and we'll have a working cannon and crows nest that the pirates can dive off off and swing in the air. Water, decks, from ship to ship, I think folks are really going to be excited about it."
Pirates Voyage is holding a job fair next weekend.
