It's been ten months since the Powerball® www.powerball.com/ jackpot was more than $200 million. And Wednesday night, you can try for your shot at the money.
"Tonight's $218 million Powerball® jackpot registers in the top 10 Powerball® jackpots of all time," the South Carolina Education Lottery's www.sceducationlottery.com/ Executive Director Paula Harper Bethea, said in a press release.
"What makes this even more extraordinary is that this impressive Powerball® run comes on the heels of a $319 Mega Millions® www.megamillions.com/ jackpot," Bethea added. "This is an exciting time for the Education Lottery and its players, but we want to remind everyone to please play responsibly. When you spend the extra $1 for a ticket, even if you don't win, education always wins."
The odds of winning the Powerball® jackpot are 1 in 195,249,054.
To play, you have to by your ticket by 9:59 p.m. for the 10:59 p.m. drawing.
Tickets are $1. But you can buy PowerPlay® for an extra $1 to multiply non-jackpot winnings by the PowerPlay® number drawn.
