An election for two council seats in the City of Dillon was held Tuesday.

For District 1, incumbent James "Bobie" Washington keeps his seat easily with 87% of the vote to Lenora Wright's 13%.

There was a closer race for District 2. Connie Manning won with 54% to James Butch McInnis's 46%.

District 2 was the seat held by Randolph Gurley until he was removed from office by the governor late last year after he was indicted on several charges including attempted murder.
