Deputies in Marion County are searching for the man who robbed the Hotspot convenience store last Thursday.  / Courtesy: MCSO

MARION COUNTY -- Marion County deputies say the man in the attached pictured robbed the Hotspot convenience store at 4641 West Highway 76 around 3:15 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies say the man was armed with a handgun when he forced the employee to give him cash from the register.

The man is described as between 5'8" and 5'10" tall, wearing a gray hooded jersey, dark jeans, white tennis shoes and a blue bandana to conceal his face.
