A very warm and windy day is expected as high pressure off of the East Coast pushes away and a cold front approaches from the West. Winds will range from 15-25 mph with gusts around 35mph possible. Cloud cover will begin the increase late this afternoon becoming mostly cloudy overnight. We'll remain dry today and through midnight with rain approaching the area from the West heading into the early morning hours on Tuesday. A cold front will move through the Carolinas through the first half of Tuesday bringing in showers and thunderstorms, with a slight risk of severe storms not being ruled out. The main threat will be damaging winds and hail. The threat is low for tornadoes, but it is not zero. Behind the cold front, cooler conditons will move in with more afternoon sun, but the winds will still remain up. Temps will remain fairly steady in the mid to upper 60s tomorrow, but the coldest of air will arrive late Tuesday night. With winds beginning to diminish and skies clearing out, temps will be dropping into the 30s away from the beaches. There is a chance that some areas could see some frost on Wednesday morning.

Tonight: Showers and Storms(slight risk for severe storms) arrive after midnight and stick around through daybreak. Lows: Low 60s.
Tuesday: Morning scattered rain and a few storms will end from West to East through midday giving way to more PM sunshine. Highs- Upper 60s/
