FLORENCE COUNTY, SC -- UPDATE: According to a news release issued by the Florence County Sheriff's Office, Jeffrey Ellis Turner was located was found alive and well after his vehicle was discovered in a local bank parking lot by investigators two days after he was reported missing.
The release goes on to say, "Mr. Turner advised investigators that he left home voluntarily and did not wish to elaborate further."

Florence County deputies are searching for a missing man.
Investigator Jason Doar says Wednesday afternoon Jeffery Turner, 47, left his home and hasn't been seen since. He says Turner left behind his cell phone and no one has been able to reach him. Doar says they are concerned about his safety.
Deputies are searching Friendfield Road in the Effingham and Pamplico communities.
A State Law Enforcment Division helicopter is flying over Lynches River and the Great Pee Dee River looking for any signs of Turner's pick-up truck.
Doar says Turner was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Red Silverado pickup with South Carolina license plate number AKF 567.
If you see his truck, deputies ask that you don't approach it, but call 911.
