Florence police arrested a woman for shooting her ex-boyfriend. It happened just after 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at the Palmetto Villa Apartments on West Palmetto Street.
Police say Jacquetta Scott, 23, got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend inside the apartment. Officers say she went out to her car and got a gun. Police say Scott walked back into the building and shot the man as he stood at the top of the stairs.
He's being treated for a gunshot wound to the upper arm. At this time, his name isn't being released.
Police arrested Scott at her Florence home and charged her with attempted murder.
She's being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
