PICKENS, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina social worker and one of three children riding in her car have died in a crash near Pickens.

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley told the Independent-Mail of Anderson that 36-year-old Chrystal Nicole Harrison and 9-year-old Raven Alania Stancil were killed in Friday's crash.

Officials say two boys, one 15 and one 17, also were in the car with Harrison and were in critical condition at a Greenville hospital.

Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Bill Rhyne says Harrison's Chevy Impala was hit by a GMC Sierra that crossed the center line.

Rhyne says the driver of the Sierra was 45-year-old Julie Melton Mason of Marietta. Mason also was taken to the hospital. Her condition was not immediately available.
