Tonya has been reporting stories happening in the Pee Dee for more than 10 years.
The Florence County Sheriff's Office has charged Samuel Blaine Roberts, 32, with one count of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and one count of Committing a Lewd Act upon a Child under the age of 16.
The sheriff's office says Roberts assaulted the child on or about January 26th.
Roberts is being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing before a Florence County Magistrate.
