Horry County police arrested an inmate after he escaped from work duty Wednesday.

Major Joey Johnson with J Reuben Long Detention Center says around 2:30 p.m. Patrick Cassidy walked off from work duty with the Solid Waste Authority.

Cassidy is serving a 60 day sentence for forgery and receiving stolen goods.

Police captured him around four hours later off Highway 501 near the Coastal Carolina University campus.

There is no word if Cassidy will face additional charges.
