Horry County prosecutor arrested, charged with DUI

HORRY COUNTY -- A prosecutor with the 15th Circuit Solicitor's Office has resigned after being arrested by SC Highway Patrol troopers on Monday morning.

Robert B. "Bo" Bryan, 40, of Myrtle Beach is charged with first-offense driving under the influence and open container of beer or wine in a motor vehicle, according to J. Reuben Long Detention Center's website.

SCHP Cpl. Sonny Collins says Bryan was stopped by troopers on Highway 501 near Robert Grissom around 3:15 am Monday.

Online records show Bryan, who works as an assistant solicitor, was booked at 7:25 am Monday and released at 9:18 am.
