DILLON COUNTY -- SC Highway Patrol is looking for the driver of a car who witnesses say was in the area at the time of a fatal accident in Dillon County Monday afternoon.

Troopers say Edith Jones Marshall, 44, ran off of West Country Club Road, hit an embankment and crashed into a tree.

Coroner Donnie Grimsley says Marshall died from injuries suffered in the accident.

Highway Patrol is now asking for the publics help in locating the driver of another car, who witnesses say was at the scene around the time of the crash. The car is described as a midsize sedan. Troopers aren't saying what role, if any, the driver may have played in the crash, but they do need to talk with the person.

If you have any information you're asked to call HP at #(843) 661.4700 or *HP.
