(AP) -- ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - An Orangeburg man has been arrested in the stabbing death of a woman who was baby sitting children in her home.
Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says 22-year-old Cleophus N. Edwards has been charged with in the February 3rd death of Carolynne Janese Hanton.
Hanton was found dead at her home by her husband. Four small children in the home when she was stabbed were not hurt.
Ravenell says a deputy helping serve a probation violation warrant at the home where Edwards was found noticed a computer that matched the description of one taken from Hanton's home. The sheriff says it turned out to be Hanton's computer.
It was unclear if Edwards has an attorney.
