Myrtle Beach police are investigating suspicious fires at the Landmark Resort on the south end of the city.

Officials say hotel staff reported fires on the 3rd and 14th floors of the high-rise Thursday around 6 p.m.

When the fire department arrived, the fires had already been put out by employees.

Police officers and the crime scene investigative unit also responded.

The fires did not stop guests from going in and out of the hotel.

The cause is under investigation.
