The plants want to be able to be stay open past 9 p.m., the current cutoff time, so crews can work on county road projects.
One road project that needs to be worked on through the night is the Backgate overpass.
The Horry County Council meeting is set to start at 6 p.m. in council chambers at the Government and Justice Center in Conway. Click here to see the agenda.
