Horry County Fire Rescue responds to a house fire on Socastee Blvd.
One person was taken to the hospital after a fire in the Socastee community of Horry County.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the house fire on Socastee Boulevard Monday afternoon.
The people who own the house tell NewsChannel 15 a pregnant woman rented the house from them. They say she was the one taken to the hospital.
The house was right next to a strip mall called Socastee Commons.
The back of the house was destroyed.
Firefighters say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
