Business owners in downtown Conway raised money with a sweet theme Saturday afternoon.

In all, 28 stores participated in the first ever chocolate walk, which sold out days before the event.

Shoppers donated a suggested $8 for the chances to stop into stores and taste a variety of treats.

Chocolates included chocolate oreo bon bons, chocolate coke, chocolate bacon, and chocolate covered potato chips and Cheetos.

The event was organized by Conway Main Street USA, a group that works to stimulate economic development and promote Downtown Conway.

Business owners called the event trick or treating for adults.
