Jury selection started Monday in the trial of a woman charged with the murder of a Conway mother-of-four.
Brittany Johnson is accused of shooting and killing Monica Burroughs, 29, on Bayside Avenue in Conway on June 24, 2008.
Police say Johnson shot and killed Burroughs in front of Burroughs' four children.
Johnson was 17-years-old when she was arrested and charged with murder.
A circuit judge denied Johnson's bond in August 2008 on grounds she was a threat to the community and a flight risk.
Jury selection started at 9 a.m. Monday at the Horry County Government and Justice Building in Conway.
