Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal car accident off Pearlie Road in Dillon County.
Troopers say a car ran off the road and landed in a field just before 5:30 am Monday.
The Dillon County coroner says the driver died from injuries suffered in the crash. His name will be released later today.
