Going green took center stage on a Grand Strand runway Thursday night.

Waccamaw Intermediate School kicked off their Going Green Fashion Show.

28 students and teachers modeled their environmentally friendly ensembles that were uniquely created by 100 percent recycled material.

But it wasn't all about the fashion, after the show organizers say the students taught the community how to reduce their carbon footprint.
