FLORENCE -- A bond hearing is set for Friday at 10 a.m. for two women accused of killing 3-year-old Tylashia Grant, according to Solicitor Ed Clements.
Deputies say Tylashia died January 25 as a result of child abuse.
Her great-aunt, Jeraldine Brockington, and cousin, Kesia Grant, are both charged with homicide by child abuse.
Relatives say Brockington had custody of Tylashia through the Department of Social Services (dss.sc.gov/) since she was just a few months old.
A spokesperson for DSS tells us the agency will investigate this custody case.
Brockington and Grant are being held in the Florence County Detention Center.
Tylashia was laid to rest Wednesday.
