Marlboro County deputies arrested Kamilah Monesha Lindsay, 18, of Bennettsville, Denzell Roger Flowers, 17, of Bennettsville, Saenell Anthony Chambers, 19, of Cheraw, Bashir Brett Chambers, 18, of Cheraw and a 16-year-old.
They're charged with Burglary, Larceny and Malicious Damage to Property for two recent burglaries at Blenheim Elementary-Middle School.
Deputies say the five broke into the school last Thursday and Sunday nights. The teens are accused of taking two computers, two Nintendo video games, drinks and a 55-inch television.
Police recovered all of the stolen items and returned them to the school. Police say evidence collected from the school lead investigators to the suspects.
One of the suspects is a former student.
Sheriff Fred Knight said in a news release, "I hope that this sends a message to any other young people who decide to break into homes or business and take things that don't belong to them. We are determined to follow up on information and act quickly on evidence as in this case. This school system cannot afford to lose thousands of dollars in property when they are in the process of building a new school."
