Mullins Police detectives arrested several people, including two juveniles, in connection with a burglary at a local nightclub.
Police say the suspects broke through a glass door to the business on January 6 and took several bottles of liquor, a TV, a laptop computer and destroyed a game machine.
Chief Kenneth Davis says a Community Watch members tipped police off to search a home on Dogwood Drive in Mullins. Officers found the stolen items, marijuana, a shotgun with an obliterated serial number and several rounds of shotgun and handgun ammunition.
Police arrested seven people and they're still looking for Jeremy Gerald, 19, and Myron Garner, 28, both of Mullins.
Police charged a 15-year-old with Second Degree Burglary, Grand Larceny and Simple Possession of Marijuana and a 16-year-old with Second Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny.
Saquan Mingo, 18, is charged with Second Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny.
Marcus Gerald, 17, is charged with Receiving Stolen Goods in Excess of $2,000 and Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Person Under Legal Age.
Patricia Johnson Gerald, 38, is charged with Receiving Stolen Goods in Excess of $2,000 and Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Darius Ford, 19, is charged with Unlawful possession of alcohol by person under legal age.
Andre Legette, 20, is charged with Unlawful possession of alcohol by person under legal age.
All of the suspects are from Mullins.
The Marion County Gang Unit and Combined Drug Unit agents assisted Mullins police during the operation. The weapon will be taken to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division's laboratory for forensic processing in hopes of restoring the serial number so that officers can trace its origin.
