Head-on collision Thursday afternoon on Second Loop Road in Florence
Florence County Coroner Bubba Matthews says Kevin Brown, 38, died following a head-on collision Thursday afternoon in Florence.
Police say Brown was driving east on Second Loop Road about 4:30 p.m. when he crossed the center line and hit a van head on.
Brown was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.
the driver of the van was also taken to the hospital with injuries, but is expected to be okay.
