Horry County Police arrested four men on armed robbery charges shortly after they were notified of an armed robbery and homicide in Tabor City, North Carolina.
Officers responded Loris Community Hospital for a report of a shooting victim. They say the man's explanation of how he was shot didn't add up, and they were able to connect the man and the others to the Tabor City homicide.
Horry County Police say the four are connected to numerous armed robberies in Horry County, Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, and North Carolina.
All four men are from Loris and charged with Armed Robbery.
They are Joshua Weatherspoon, 20, Xzavia Parker, 19, Franklin Crawford, 24, and Elias Collins, 22.
Lt. Raul Denis with Horry County police says the four may have been involved in the robberies at the Kangaroo Convenience Store on Highway 90, Tokyo Restaurant and Bruce Gerald Convenience Store near Conway as well as some in Myrtle Beach, Georgetown and North Carolina.
Horry County Police are helping the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations in the Tabor City robbery and homicide case, as well as the other jurisdictions where the armed robberies took place.
