A festival this week allows you to dine in style at some of the area's best restaurants for a fraction of the cost.
Restaurant Week South Carolina kicked off Friday. For nine days, you can sample new restaurants or dine at old favorites.
It's a way to showcase the outstanding culinary scene throughout the state.
Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association President Stephen Greene told NewsChannel 15, "We obviously recognize this is a very slow time and we really wanted to get some additoinal business and really also showcase the culinary destination that the Grand Strand has to offer."
Restaurant Week wraps up on January 22nd.
Restaurants suggest making reservations in advance as seating fills up very quickly.
