Friday morning, Citizen's Fireams on Pamplico Highway in Florence went up in flames.

When crews arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the building.

Firefighters tell us a store employee was hurt and had to be taken to the hospital.

About 25 firefighters worked to bring the fire under control.

South Carolina Highway Patrol shutdown a portion of Pamplico Highway so that fire crews could run water hoses.

Firefighters say they aren't sure how much of the stories inventory was damaged, but say several guns and ammunition were inside the business.

No word as of yet as to what sparked the fire.
